Preview of the Home Décor Manufacturer Case Study

Integrated EDI Implementation for Home Décor Manufacturer

Home Décor Manufacturer, the second-largest supplier of decorative pillows in the U.S. serving top-tier retailers, needed an integrated EDI solution to replace a costly, unintuitive legacy system, reduce manual data entry, and ensure compliance with diverse trading-partner requirements. Radley, LLC addressed the challenge with its iR*EDI platform, Business Activity Monitor (BAM), and EasyLink VAN services to provide ERP integration and linkage to the customer’s homegrown shipping/scanning module.

Radley, LLC implemented iR*EDI on-demand to translate inbound 850 purchase orders into ERP transactions, break consolidated POs into per-store requirements, build ASNs from shipping files, append store-level data to labels, and consolidate multiple store invoices into single PO invoices. The solution eliminated nearly all manual data entry, lowered EDI cost of ownership, provided real-time transaction visibility, improved response to non-compliance, and boosted supplier satisfaction—so much so that the customer purchased additional iR*EDI trading-partner modules and requested further Radley enhancements.
