Shoe Carnival, a 405‑store family footwear retailer, faced a major omnichannel challenge when it moved away from its 3PL and needed to unify siloed inventory and implement order management, customer care, and ship‑from‑store capabilities quickly. Partnering with Radial, Shoe Carnival deployed an order management system plus payments, customer care, transportation, and ship‑from‑store (later adding ship‑to‑store and in‑store pickup) just in time for peak season. The rollout accelerated from a 60‑store pilot to 250 stores live, online inventory availability jumped from 70K to 4M units, 90% of orders were fulfilled from stores, 99.7% of orders shipped within two days, and the company saw a dramatic sales lift during the holiday window.
