TouchTunes, which powers companion-app jukebox experiences across more than 65,000 bars and restaurants in the US and Canada, needed a scalable, accurate way to send real-time, location-based messages that drove in-venue engagement. To avoid false positives and to automatically add or edit geofences when venues opened or jukeboxes moved, TouchTunes chose Radar’s geofencing solution.
Radar worked with TouchTunes to build precise geofences and detect true venue dwell events rather than pass-by traffic, enabling automated geofence management and reducing false positives. As a result, Radar helped TouchTunes extend proximity coverage to an additional 10,000 venues, increasing opportunities for personalized messages that drive more song plays and revenue, with plans to expand to thousands more locations.
