A Radar Case Study

Sleeper chooses Radar for developer-friendly, cost-effective geo-compliance

Sleeper, a fantasy sports platform expanding into Daily Fantasy Sports (DFS), needed a reliable way to verify player locations and meet state-by-state geo-compliance requirements for regulated contests. To launch DFS without building location controls in-house, Sleeper chose Radar for a developer-friendly, cost-effective geolocation and compliance solution.

Radar provided Sleeper with its React Native SDK, along with Regions and Fraud tools, to verify user location, detect spoofing or proxy use, and enforce state-based entry restrictions. Within two months, Sleeper completed development, passed 100% of checks in an independent audit, and began securing licenses; today, Radar helps Sleeper flag nearly 16% of entry attempts from restricted states and 2% of locations with fraud indicators.
