A Radar Case Study

Preview of the Dick’s Sporting Goods Case Study

DICK’S Sporting Goods launched Store Mode in under 2 months with Radar

Dick’s Sporting Goods, a leading omnichannel retailer, wanted to better connect its mobile app and in-store shopping experiences after relaunching its apps in 2021. To support the new Store Mode feature, Dick’s needed a developer-friendly location platform with strong observability and analytics, and chose Radar to help it launch quickly and confidently.

Using Radar’s SDK and geofencing tools, Dick’s imported store geofences, analyzed in-store app behavior, and rolled out Store Mode across more than 780 locations. The launch delivered measurable impact: over 70% of users granted location permissions, 8% of the total user base used Store Mode, and the feature helped create hundreds of thousands of omnichannel shopping experiences while increasing engagement and sales potential.
