Relay42, a Dutch SaaS provider for customers including Air France‑KLM, Heineken and FedEx, helps brands unify online and offline customer data to deliver personalized, predictive journeys. As its business scaled, Relay42 needed to connect thousands of systems and process from 60,000 up to 500,000 data events per second (peaking in busy periods) while delivering personalized messages within two seconds and maintaining cost control and compliance.

Relay42 migrated onto AWS with Rackspace Technology as its primary partner, combining AWS services (EC2, S3, Kinesis, SageMaker, CodeDeploy/Build, security tools) with Rackspace’s Fanatical Experience and CloudHealth cost tooling. The solution delivered real‑time orchestration at peak throughput, saved about $8,000 per month in compute costs, preserved uptime and compliance via a DPA, and positioned Relay42 to scale its European and Asian growth.
