Rackspace Startup Program Spotlight on Digital Harmony Games

Digital Harmony Games, a member of the Rackspace Startup Program, set out to solve a core problem in social gaming: most multiplayer experiences are device-specific or turn-based, preventing true real-time cross‑platform interaction across smartphones, tablets and browsers. Founders Keren Kang and Jeff Lujan launched the company to build platform‑agnostic multiplayer connectivity so players can interact in real time regardless of carrier, distributor or device.

They developed a patent‑pending middleware, “Harmony Tech,” to enable real‑time cross‑platform connections and built their infrastructure on Rackspace Managed Cloud to focus on development rather than ops. As a result they are simultaneously developing two cross‑platform games, became an official Tapjoy partner, are in talks with top publishers, and are preparing to raise Series A funding.
