CSID, a leading provider of identity protection and fraud-detection services founded in 2006, faced urgent challenges as its revenue and subscriber base doubled: it needed improved platform performance, availability, security and the ability to scale quickly to meet new demand and compliance requirements. The company required an enterprise-grade infrastructure without the overhead of building and staffing its own data centers.

CSID partnered with Rackspace to deploy managed public and private cloud services and access expert support, monitoring, security, backup, and PCI compliance tools. The result was a more stable, higher-performing and scalable platform that could be rapidly expanded for urgent events (such as the OPM breach response), while lowering operating costs and leveraging Rackspace’s human and technical resources.
