Pure Storage amps up the performance of STaaS with Google Anthos

Pure Storage, a data‑storage innovator serving over 8,000 customers with its storage‑as‑a‑service (STaaS) offering, needed to show how its fast, API‑driven persistent storage could work with containerized environments. When Google Anthos emerged as a platform for consistent hybrid deployments, Pure had to rapidly design and build a reference architecture to integrate with Anthos and keep pace with fast Kubernetes release cycles.

Rackspace Technology, together with IGNW and Google, compressed development timelines and delivered an Anthos MVP on a 90‑day schedule, providing the system integration and orchestration Pure required. The collaboration produced a validated reference architecture that demonstrated on‑premises performance in a cloud‑like environment, helped Pure showcase its value on Anthos, and kept the company competitive in the container and hybrid cloud market.
