Punch, one of the UK’s largest pub and bar operators with around 3,500 premises, needed a modern, mobile-friendly way for publicans to order stock anytime. Their traditionally managed private hosting couldn’t scale during peak periods, causing site failures and same-day order issues.
Working with Salmon and Rackspace, Punch adopted a cloud-first approach using Rackspace Fanatical Support® for AWS and launched a new 24/7 ecommerce portal and internal order-tracking tools. The move cut downtime, improved peak-period performance and shifted two-thirds of orders from phone to online, transforming how publicans manage their businesses.
