Ordoro, co‑founded by Naruby Schlenker in 2010, is a web app that streamlines post‑checkout operations for small and mid‑sized ecommerce retailers—handling orders, inventory, drop‑shipping and shipping labels. The company faced the classic startup hurdles: launching with a minimal product, no partners or brand presence, and a difficult early customer‑acquisition phase to secure beta users and validate demand.

To validate and improve the product they cold‑called prospects to recruit early adopters, who began paying soon after—proving the solution’s value. With that traction they pursued channel partnerships, optimized site search, and raised angel and seed funding (via AngelList and Emerge) to expand the team; the outcome was a small but highly talented team, steady customer growth, investor follow‑on support, and a focus on delighting and retaining customers.
