A Rackspace Technology Case Study
New Zealand Media and Entertainment (NZME) combined three major NZ media brands—APN NZ, The Radio Network and GrabOne—into a single organisation delivering radio, digital, ecommerce and print content to over 3.3 million Kiwis each week. After the merger their audience and customer data lived across multiple disparate platforms, creating inconsistency and limiting insight into how users interacted with their services.
Rackspace migrated NZME to Fanatical Support for AWS, consolidating platforms and data and enabling a Relevancy Engine that delivers the right content at the right time. The solution improved audience insights and lifted engagement, click‑through and open rates, while freeing NZME’s team to operate as part of an extended DevOps model and support continued business growth.
