LifeCellar is a subscription-based digital vault that helps consumers organize and protect important documents, relationships and tasks. Born from real-world incidents that exposed the pain of lost or inaccessible personal information, the startup needed a secure, scalable infrastructure and wanted to avoid diverting its small team to manage backend operations and privacy concerns.

LifeCellar joined the Rackspace Startup Program and used Rackspace Managed Cloud as an extension of its team to build a hybrid cloud environment with dedicated storage, secure firewalls, and integrated database and file systems. Rackspace delivered on the company's three priorities—security, scalability and support—and after roughly 90 days LifeCellar is moving from beta to production with a seamless, supported launch expected.
