Preview of the Kurtosys Case Study

Kurtosys Strengthens Financial SaaS Offering for Asset Managers

Kurtosys is a London-based fintech software provider that builds digital reporting, portals and APIs for global fund and asset managers, supporting roughly $500B in assets. Facing the need to position multiple hosted products for SaaS success, the company required a secure, consistent and globally deployable infrastructure that could scale for bursty workloads, protect data integrity, and keep hosting costs and operational risk under control.

Kurtosys partnered with Rackspace to deploy a Private Cloud (Dedicated Servers, Dedicated Firewalls and Load Balancers) on an OpenStack platform, with support from Rackspace teams in the US and UK. The solution enabled use of NoSQL, MySQL and ElasticSearch, standardized deployments across regions, and gave Kurtosys a reliable, scalable platform and extended operations team—delivering improved uptime, security, cost control and faster global delivery of its SaaS offerings.
