Cheersable - Customer Case Study

Cheersable is a startup in the Rackspace Startup Program that lets friends send and share drinks nationwide through a mobile app. Founded by Marco Aponte to solve the problem of celebrating with friends who live far away, the app taps a network of about 4,000 partner restaurants so recipients can redeem a beer, wine or cocktail wherever they are; the company also faced the typical startup challenge of building and scaling infrastructure with a small team.

To address those challenges, Cheersable launched an app that lets users send redeemable drinks and partnered with Rackspace for infrastructure migration, scaling support, mentorship and networking. The Android app is live (iPhone imminent), early beta feedback has been positive, and Cheersable is actively growing its restaurant network and adding social features to improve the user experience and expand nationwide reach.
