Prominent Media Institute scales to 120,000 users with Raccoon Gang

The Prominent Media Institute, an educational project within a global media network, faced challenges scaling its eLearning platform to meet peak demand of 120,000 users and required a more advanced, customized LMS. Partnering with Raccoon Gang, they chose to migrate to a new learning management system based on Open edX to gain modern management tools, eCommerce functionality, and a seamless mobile experience.

Raccoon Gang implemented a highly scalable custom LMS, successfully migrating user data and progress for hundreds of thousands of users without interruption. The solution, integrated with the customer's Azure cloud, included advanced reporting, gamification, and a corporate package for white-labeled subdomains. The new platform empowered the Media Institute to effectively continue its mission of developing media skills for a global audience.
