Case Study: EBRD advances digital policy learning with Raccoon Gang’s Open edX e-learning solution

EBRD transforms a 24-hour seminar into an 8-hour e-learning program with Raccoon Gang

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) needed to transform its existing training materials, including lengthy seminars and various documents, into an accessible, interactive digital learning program for its staff and external stakeholders across 38 countries. To meet this challenge, the EBRD engaged Raccoon Gang to leverage their instructional design services and develop the content on an Open edX platform.

Raccoon Gang successfully converted a 24-hour, instructor-led seminar into an 8-hour, self-paced online program. The solution included 84 instructional videos, 125 assessment questions, and numerous interactive exercises, all hosted on a GDPR-compliant Open edX platform built on Microsoft Azure that supports over 600 concurrent users. This project by Raccoon Gang established the EBRD Policy Academy as a live digital learning platform, significantly extending the reach of the bank's knowledge transfer and capacity-building initiatives.
