VALK needed a better way to handle the investment, trading, and management of unlisted assets in private markets, where transactions were still largely manual and driven by email-based file exchanges and local document storage. R3 helped VALK build an end-to-end, white-labeled platform that automates KYC/AML, investment management, and trading while integrating with existing legacy systems. Using Corda, VALK can tokenize debt instruments in a regulatory compliant framework and trade them across its platform network. The result was a network of more than 60 financial institutions, over $3 billion in deals supported, an 80% reduction in end-to-end processing time, and a 50% decrease in associated costs.
