ClaimShare, a flagship product from **IntellectEU**, set out to tackle “double-dipping” insurance fraud, where the same event is claimed with multiple insurers. The challenge was to detect this fraud without violating privacy rules or exposing sensitive customer data, while still allowing insurers to collaborate across jurisdictions.

To solve this, **IntellectEU** built ClaimShare on **R3’s Corda Enterprise** and **Conclave**, enabling real-time, anonymized sharing of claims data and secure matching of private information in privacy-preserving enclaves. The solution is being trialed by leading insurers and is expected to save up to **10% of overall fraud costs per insurance line**, while also helping insurers quantify previously undetectable fraud and notify regulators in real time.
