Positive Impact on Student Learning in Elementary Schools

Elementary Schools needed a way to boost fourth grade math engagement and improve performance across a wide range of student skill levels, from advanced proficient to far below basic. The district used the same pacing guide and textbooks in both classes, but one class was looking for a more interactive approach to support learning and participation.

Qwizdom provided its state standards-aligned ReadySet curriculum and Student Response System, using student remotes daily for warm-ups and wrap-ups. The solution gave immediate feedback, visual answer support, and helped the teacher identify strengths, weaknesses, and concepts needing reteaching. Results were strong: the Qwizdom group’s average rose from 17% to 59% on the posttest, compared with 48% to 56% for the control group, and students reported greater confidence, participation, and enjoyment.
