Jaguar Land Rover, working through Pena Innovation’s Apprenticeship and Training Programme, needed a faster way to manage large-scale Technical Certificate standards assessments. With 1,500 trainees answering 360 questions each, they required a system that could quickly collate responses and provide instant feedback and reporting for training records, so they turned to Qwizdom and its Q2 remote system.
Qwizdom implemented handsets that allowed trainees to answer questions at scale, with responses captured instantly for live feedback and record keeping. The result was a major reduction in assessment time versus traditional marking, with 540,000 questions processed more efficiently, immediate performance feedback for assessors and candidates, and approval from the awarding body EAL. Qwizdom also became useful beyond assessments, supporting registration, Key Skills sessions, and wider client training.
