Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne increases student interaction

École hôtelière de Lausanne (EHL) sought to improve the quality and quantity of interaction and feedback in its hospitality technology classes. To address this challenge, Professor Ian Millar turned to a solution from vendor Qwizdom, specifically implementing the Qwizdom Q6 learner response system.

The Qwizdom system allowed for anonymous student responses to yes/no, multiple choice, and open-ended questions, which led to a significant increase in feedback. This immediate and candid input enabled the professor to adjust his teaching in real-time, thereby improving the quality of the classes. The solution received positive feedback from students and is planned for expansion into other areas of the school, including moving paper-based exams to the Qwizdom platform.
