A Qwizdom Case Study
Durham County Council, responsible for public services across County Durham, runs driver and road safety awareness programmes for around 1,200 15- and 16-year-olds over a three-week period. The council needed a better way to check how well information was being delivered and to speed up the slow, paper-based process of collecting and collating results. Qwizdom provided its Response System and handsets to support these events.
With Qwizdom’s system, the council tested knowledge and attitudes at the start and end of each day, using anonymous feedback to get more accurate responses and compare progress over time. The portable kit also supported roadshows in schools and colleges across County Durham, while giving staff instant insight into their effectiveness as communicators. According to Durham County Council, Qwizdom’s reliability and robustness impressed even sceptics and helped bridge the generation gap with young participants.
