MODIS worked with QVALON to address losses in its network stores, improve the performance of security contractors, and optimize security-related expenses. The retailer needed better ways to identify loss channels, build effective interaction with security providers, and improve control over contractual obligations across its store network.

QVALON implemented flexible inspection and checklist-based processes, including store inventory safety checklists, self-testing for store directors, and quality control checklists for security staff. Contractors were connected to the QVALON system, contracts were updated to include service recalculation clauses, and regular audits were introduced. As a result, MODIS reduced store losses by 5% and cut security costs by 7.5% in six months.
