Stavanger University Hospital Transforms Patient Care with Haltian and Quuppa IoT Solutions

Stavanger University Hospital, one of Norway's largest hospitals, faced challenges in optimizing space utilization and tracking valuable medical equipment. To address this and promote data-driven decision-making, the hospital partnered with Quuppa and Haltian.

The solution involved deploying Haltian’s Empathic Building platform, powered by Quuppa’s real-time positioning system. This provided accurate tracking of assets and staff, and a digital twin of the facility. The results included improved space control, the ability to quickly locate equipment, and enhanced patient safety. The project is expected to save the hospital hundreds of millions of Norwegian crowns and has allowed them to plan a new, more efficient hospital by leveraging the data from Quuppa’s system.
