Dyer Engineering, a UK-based fabrication and machining group operating across 10 buildings and handling around 1,000 active jobs with 10,000+ operations, faced chronic time loss as workers hunted for materials and equipment and prioritized easily found tasks over high‑priority work. To tackle this, Dyer sought an affordable indoor tracking solution and adopted Quuppa’s indoor positioning technology (deployed as Quuppa Locators) as part of the ThinkIN tracking system.

Quuppa supplied roughly 60 Quuppa Locators and BLE tag positioning that fed ThinkIN’s cloud platform and workshop visualisation, initially tracking 500 assets (quickly scaled to 1,000). The result, enabled by Quuppa’s real‑time positioning, was faster asset recovery, clearer job prioritization and improved production workflow—Dyer Engineering estimates cost savings of up to £10,000 per month—and plans to continue and expand the system.
