Bit Tonic tracks semi-finished vehicles to within tens of centimeters with Quuppa

An automotive manufacturer, Bit Tonic, faced a significant challenge in tracking large, identical semi-finished vehicles stored across vast indoor and outdoor areas. Manual tracking efforts had failed, leading to lost items and production delays. To address this, they partnered with Quuppa to implement a real-time location system (RTLS).

Quuppa's solution utilized Angle-of-Arrival (AoA) technology with tags and ceiling-mounted antennas for indoor tracking. For outdoor areas, an autonomous drone equipped with an AoA antenna was deployed to locate items. This system provided real-time visibility into asset locations, eliminating manual tracking. The Quuppa implementation significantly improved production efficiency and reduced costly delays for the customer.
