Case Study: ACCESS TB improves tuberculosis screening and diagnosis with Qure.ai

ACCESS TB, a program of the Philippine Business for Social Progress, was working to improve tuberculosis screening in the Philippines, where TB cases are high and access to radiologists is limited. To help address delays in chest X-ray interpretation and reduce missed cases, ACCESS TB turned to Qure.ai and its qXR AI-powered chest X-ray screening solution for mobile, community-based active case finding.

With Qure.ai’s qXR deployed on four mobile vans, ACCESS TB was able to speed up TB screening and triage at the point of care, enabling same-day sputum collection and faster diagnosis. The program screened 30,000+ individuals across 40+ municipalities and, in the broader effort, identified 8,700 TB cases among 200,000+ high-risk people screened, improving the TB care cascade and reducing patient drop-off.
