Kleenex partnered with Quotient Technology to improve media efficiency during a challenging cold and flu season, when fewer buyers meant its advertising needed to work harder. The brand turned to Quotient’s Digital Out-of-Home (DOOH) solution to reach highly qualified audiences more effectively.
Quotient Technology used purchase intent, consumer spending, location intelligence, and third-party cold and flu data to target paper tissue category and brand buyers near doctors’ offices, pharmacies, and urgent care locations across 6,447 screens in 20 top markets. The campaign drove $4.498M in attributable sales and delivered an $18.33 return on ad spend, well above the $10.01 household category benchmark, while 62% of exposed shoppers had not purchased Kleenex in the prior 52 weeks.
