Instron, a global leader in materials testing instruments and systems, needed a fast, intuitive quoting solution to handle highly configurable, complex products across its Account Management Teams. Sales teams required accurate communication and GoldMine synchronization, the ability to link and email quotes to field personnel and customers, and a way to eliminate a growing "paper blob" and backlog of quotes in late 1998.
Instron chose QuoteWerks and rolled out QuoteWerks 3.0 worldwide (125+ installations) with support from Aspire Technologies. The system centralized pricing, integrated with existing workflows, enabled quote-to-order conversion and electronic order entry, improved efficiency and professionalism of quotations, and gave the company unified global quoting and reporting capabilities.
