DoorDash worked with Quorum to better communicate its community impact during the coronavirus pandemic. As state and local governments rolled out rapidly changing shelter-at-home and restaurant closure policies, DoorDash needed a faster way to track officials’ updates and reach out to policymakers about initiatives like supporting small businesses and Project Dash. Quorum’s State and Local tools helped DoorDash monitor dialogue and manage outreach at scale.

Using Quorum’s alerting, contact database, and Outbox email tool, DoorDash tracked governors and mayors on social media, sent personalized emails to state and local officials, and followed up based on engagement. DoorDash sent more than 2,500 emails and saw a 40% open rate on the initial message, helping the company launch new Project Dash partnerships and strengthen relationships with officials for future policy conversations.
