Consumer Technology Association Manages Lobbying Strategy with Quorum

The Consumer Technology Association (CTA), a trade association representing more than 2,200 technology companies, needed a better way to manage a wide-ranging lobbying and advocacy portfolio spanning trade, intellectual property, immigration, and other issues. CTA wanted a platform that would help it stay on top of policy developments while also coordinating engagement with legislators and staff. Quorum provided the software solution CTA used to support that effort.

With Quorum, CTA set up email alerts for legislation, floor activity, press releases, and social media mentions so it could quickly identify developments and emerging champions on key issues. CTA also used Quorum to log meeting notes, track relationships across its team, and use the mobile app and Outbox feature to follow up with staff and send targeted messages quickly. The result was a more data-driven, efficient lobbying strategy, with Michael Petricone noting that Quorum made it much easier to track activity and manage advocacy work in a fast-moving policy environment.
