Timberwood Bank - Customer Case Study

Timberwood Bank, a community bank in Tomah, Wisconsin, faced the risk of prolonged downtime due to aging servers and a legacy disaster‑recovery solution (Symantec BackupExec) that couldn’t ensure full-system redundancy or reliable recovery. Testing was cumbersome and limited to data only, leaving the bank unable to guarantee continuity — outages of 48–72 hours were unacceptable for serving customers and protecting its reputation.

Timberwood deployed Quorum’s one‑click backup, recovery and continuity platform, which provides instant recovery of data, applications and systems plus on‑demand and automatic testing. Two days after installation an Exchange server failed; using Quorum the bank restored email to a 1:07 a.m. snapshot and had service back by 11 a.m., avoiding an estimated 4–5 day outage and demonstrating improved resilience, ease of use and preserved customer service.
