Sportvision, the sports media company behind the 1st & Ten® yellow line, needed a better way to manage rapidly growing video, audio, image, statistics, and metadata files as tape storage and legacy NAS systems made capacity management and file visibility difficult. The company turned to Qumulo and its scale-out storage platform to handle large data volumes and improve access to the information its developers and business teams needed.

Qumulo implemented an 8-node QC24 hybrid storage environment with real-time file-level analytics, NFS/SMB support, and Qumulo Care. As a result, Sportvision gained clear visibility into what data was hot or cold, who was using resources, and where performance needed more IOPS, helping it decide what to archive, keep online, and scale incrementally as needed.
