Sinclair Oil Corporation, a $7B petroleum company, needed to import and manage hundreds of thousands of documents for a new digital repository, but its legacy storage platform couldn’t handle the millions of files, high IOPS, or provide easy visibility into capacity and performance. To support its EMC Documentum-based document management system, Sinclair Oil Corporation turned to Qumulo’s modern scale-out storage.
