LEAP, the UK’s leading independent creative services agency, was struggling with disparate legacy storage systems, slow file opens, stuttering playback, and difficult data management across departments. To support its cloud-driven creative workflows, LEAP turned to Qumulo’s file data platform to centralize content, improve security and compliance, and create a path to the cloud.

Qumulo implemented a single file data system with automated snapshots and replication to Amazon S3, plus CloudStudio on AWS for cloud rendering and data protection. The result was no-downtime migration, better visibility and analytics for IT, and major performance gains, including sustained speeds of 712MB/s reads and 360MB/s writes, with a 240x increase in write speed and 31x increase in read speed.
