How Mcdonald’s Used Elan Media and Quividi to Cut Through the Clutter and Drive Sales

McDonald’s, working with Elan Media and Quividi in Qatar, wanted to cut through advertising clutter and prove that a time-of-day contextualized DOOH campaign could increase shopper engagement and restaurant sales. The campaign ran on Elan Media’s smart screen network in Mall of Qatar and Doha Festival City, using Quividi’s Audience & Campaign Intelligence platform.

Quividi helped deliver a contextualized campaign that significantly boosted performance, driving an overall units-sold uplift of 33% and 36% at the two Doha Festival City restaurants, and 67% at the Mall of Qatar outlet. The strongest creatives performed even better, with Double Cheeseburger sales up 162% in Mall of Qatar, 91% at Doha Festival City North, and 70% at Doha Festival City South.
