Delhaize Serbia, the country’s largest retail chain, wanted to modernize in-store communication across selected high-profile stores in Belgrade and Novi Sad to deliver contextually relevant promotions, increase shopper traffic, and drive sales. To do this, Delhaize turned to Quividi’s anonymous video analytics platform to measure audience exposure and understand the impact of its digital signage messaging.
Quividi, working with Fifth Screen and NDS’s PADS4 CMS, helped deploy 213 screens across 73 stores, positioned at entrances and in fresh/deli areas. The solution provided real-time insights on viewers, impressions, demographics, and attention time, while also linking campaign data to sales results so Delhaize could optimize content and improve ROI, helping create what was described as the largest smart retail media network in Eastern Europe.
