Vapiano meets the high expectations that customers place on a restaurant, in addition to providing low prices

Vapiano, a global "fresh casual dining" restaurant chain with nine restaurants in Sweden and about 600 employees, struggled with inflexible Excel-based scheduling, poor schedule communication, time-registration gaps and unreliable forecasting. To address these challenges they chose Quinyx, deploying Quinyx Scheduling, Time, Communication, Task, Budget & Forecast modules and the Quinyx Mobile App to modernize rostering, time capture and staff communication.

Quinyx rolled out the solution one restaurant at a time with dedicated superusers, integrated MS POS and Hogia payroll, and provided training via Quinyx Academy; the change lowered total wage costs by 5% and cut managers’ scheduling time from three days to 4–8 hours. Quinyx also improved productivity measurement, streamlined payroll through time punches and integrations, and boosted internal communications and forecasting across Vapiano’s restaurants.
