Leading Pharmaceutical Company used Quid to better understand how physicians view contraceptive options and what drives prescribing decisions for their brand. The team wanted to test a hypothesis that cost was the main barrier, while uncovering the real factors shaping recommendations across the physician journey.
Using Quid’s text analytics on 5,000 physician survey responses and 50,000 online physician conversations, the company identified that side effects and patient preference mattered more than cost until the final decision stage. Quid also showed that the client brand was discussed more positively on cost than Brand A, that Brand B was favored for patient preference and favorable side effects, and that the client brand was mentioned more often by OBGYNs than GPs, helping sharpen engagement strategy and messaging.
