A QuickBooks Commerce Case Study

Preview of the Wanderer Bracelets Case Study

Wanderer Bracelets managing inventory and promoting change from the jungles of Bali

Wanderer Bracelets, founded by Ben Katzaman, makes hand-carved bracelets in Bali from sustainable water-buffalo bone and employs 15 local artisans producing 240 SKUs. Committed to keeping production and jobs on the island while serving an international market, the company needed a way to centralize operations, manage complex production and inventory across Bali, the US and the Philippines, and keep overheads low as it scaled.

By adopting TradeGecko as a centralized inventory and production-management platform (integrated with Shopify, ShipStation, AfterShip, Xero and a B2B wholesale portal), Wanderer coordinates production from the jungle to US fulfillment, optimizes inventory and supports multi-channel sales. The solution delivered projected overhead savings of about 85% on ~$250K costs, enabled 15 artisans to work full time (with additional local work created), streamlined international operations and positioned the company for retail and wholesale expansion.
