Advania, an IT company in Finland with approximately 250 employees, faced significant reporting challenges as it grew through acquisitions. Their existing tools could no longer handle the need to combine data from numerous disparate systems for processes like invoicing and service management. To tackle this, Advania partnered with vendor QuickBI to implement its modern data warehouse and consulting services.

QuickBI's solution consolidated data from Advania's many systems, including its ERP, ITSM, and phone systems, into a single data warehouse. This integration was achieved through APIs, CSV files, and direct database queries. Using this new data foundation, QuickBI built Power BI reports and dashboards for Advania. The results were substantial, making customer service reporting easier and significantly reducing manual work. The solution also allowed Advania to begin developing reports for its own customers, improving transparency and accelerating internal operations.
