The Trust for Public Land Streamlines Conservation Projects with Quick Base

The Trust for Public Land (TPL) is a national nonprofit that has protected millions of acres since 1972; its Conservation Vision & GIS team supports planning, mapping and design across thousands of conservation projects and dozens of offices. As project workloads grew, reliance on spreadsheets, email and locally saved files left the team without a central data source, time-tracking, or real-time visibility to manage diverse projects and allocate resources efficiently.

TPL implemented a customized project-management app on Quick Base to centralize tasks, shared calendars, timecards, billing codes and automated budget alerts, and to archive projects for analysis. The app sped project delivery, gave managers instant status and granular time reporting, improved predictability and resource allocation, and has become an indispensable tool for scaling TPL’s nationwide conservation work.
