Robert Berning Productions Replaces Time-Consuming and Costly Paper-based Work Order System with QuickBase Web-Based Software

Robert Berning Productions (RBP) is a full-service creative communications firm that outgrew its paper-based work order system. Manual distribution, incomplete orders and costly custom forms made job tracking slow and labor-intensive, forcing lengthy weekly meetings and limiting the company’s ability to scale.

RBP replaced paper with three Quick Base web applications (Operations Management, Online Media Asset Library and Sales Lead Management) to automate work orders, scheduling, time tracking and client alerts. The system eliminated misplaced/incomplete orders, made project data searchable and triggered deadline and client email notifications—saving about 50 staff hours per month in meetings plus another four hours in manual distribution. As a result, RBP streamlined operations, doubled revenue since 2003 and grew staff to meet increased demand.
