Gateways Streamlines Nonprofit Program Management with Quick Base

Gateways: Access to Jewish Education, a nonprofit that delivers programs and consulting for children with special needs, was formed from the merger of three organizations and struggled with disparate spreadsheets and administrative systems. Client and employee data lived in multiple places, time sheets weren’t integrated with client records, Microsoft Access was too cumbersome to manage, and generating standard family reports was manual and time‑consuming.

Gateways implemented a central Quick Base application to consolidate client records, time sheets, expenses and mileage with role‑based access and secure web access. The integrated system eliminated redundant data entry, automated standard reporting (saving about 80 hours per year), improved resource allocation, and allowed staff to build additional Quick Base apps to extend functionality.
