A Quickbase Case Study
The American Transplant Foundation is a nonprofit that helps patients and living donors overcome financial and logistical barriers to kidney and liver transplants. As demand for its programs grew, the foundation found spreadsheets and limited IT budgets were preventing visibility and scalable operations — it needed an affordable way to manage donors, grants, partners, volunteers and patient services.
Using QuickBase and partnering with solution providers, the foundation built a suite of integrated low‑code apps to track donors, board members, vendors, programs and more. The platform enabled rapid program launches (mentors scaled from about 10 to 100+), supported more than 10x growth in patient and donor services toward a 250-person goal, unlocked fast access to key data, cut administrative costs, and helped drive an estimated $111 million in economic impact.
