To solve this, Dixons Carphone implemented Queue-it’s virtual waiting room for its Black Friday sales rush. Queue-it redirected excess users into an online queue whenever traffic exceeded back-end capacity, allowing shoppers within capacity to browse without slowdown and then returning waiting users to the site in the correct order and pace, helping prevent peak-related failures and keep transactions running smoothly.
