University of Michigan - Customer Case Study

The University of Michigan Health System, where 2,500 nurses (and supporting clerical staff) must complete regular mandatory competencies, confronted a burdensome paper-based process with voluminous record-keeping and limited access to study materials. To modernize testing and simplify compliance, the University of Michigan implemented Questionmark on its intranet.

Questionmark delivered more than 50 online competencies and mandatory topics with linked study materials, immediate feedback and scores, configurable print restrictions, and integration of questions authored in Word. With an 80% pass threshold, unlimited retakes, online evaluations and support for larger exams (e.g., the 50-question AHA BLS test), Questionmark dramatically reduced paperwork, saved significant staff time, improved on-time completion rates, and enabled expansion of online continuing education.
