Textbook publishers testbanks deployed in Questionmark quizzes at Eastern Washington University

Eastern Washington University (EWU), a public university with more than 10,000 students, needed a simple way for faculty to deploy publishers’ testbanks and manage large item banks for regular quizzes and paper exams. Using Questionmark — notably Question Manager to import Qpacks from publishers — EWU’s teaching and learning center aimed to streamline authoring and delivery of assessments across courses and devices.

Questionmark’s tools let faculty import 50–200 publisher questions per chapter as Qpacks, generate randomized weekly quizzes (10–20 questions) for nearly 500 students, print classroom exams, and export reports to Excel or use the Coaching Report to flag problematic items. The result was faster, more flexible quiz creation, easier incorporation of third‑party and custom items, and measurable operational impact in scaled weekly delivery and improved item‑level analysis — all enabled by Questionmark.
