Case Study: Schlumberger achieves uniform global training assessments and centralized tracking with Questionmark

A Questionmark Case Study

Preview of the Schlumberger Case Study

Schlumberger tracks its training using Questionmark software

Schlumberger, a global technical services company, needed a way to track the effectiveness of ongoing, staged training across its 60 offices and use assessment data as one criterion for promotions. To meet this challenge it adopted Questionmark software to provide a uniform, web-based assessment mechanism and to centralize test results for organization-wide standards and career-advancement decisions.

Questionmark delivered customizable, Internet-delivered tests and a central repository that feeds results into Schlumberger’s Training Management System, supporting staged assessment (initial seven tests, then batches of ~20 at later stages). The solution has enabled uniform assessment across the company, about 10,000 tests taken to date, consolidated reporting for ad hoc queries and promotion triggers, and has shown no major issues while being positioned for broader rollout.
